On 7 August, 2008, Lithuania discussed its draft National CSR Programme
On 7 August 2008 National consultations on draft Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme for 2009-2013 and the plan of its implementation took place in Vilnius Lithuania. More than 30 representatives from state institutions, business and employers organizations, trade unions, academia and NGOs expressed their comments on current draft and agreed to continue working on the finalization of the draft in order to submit for Governmental approval. The draft Programme has been prepared under Regional CSR Project, funded by the European Commission and United Nations Development Programme(UNDP), in which the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of Lithuania participated.
